5:34pm, Northgate: Day 33 ~ Can you guess where this is? I find it a bit weird… both the dodgy paint job and the two different reds. I wonder what the sign used to say, and why it had a little frame? Beige and red is an unusual colour scheme, I think. Not sure if I’ve seen much of it around!

4:08pm, Slacks Creek: Day 111 ~ WARNING, it says… about what? Did the danger go away, or was it no longer relevant? There’s spots here for two signs – I’m intrigued what they had written on them. Horizontal wall stripes like this are odd, but I love them. This is a definite favourite – red doors are really quite common, but blue? Not quite so much!

5:58pm, Albion: Day 11 ~ Another very old one – this is from my first real ‘photo-walk’ where I really started to notice what in was I was drawn to and how much I enjoyed photographing contrasting colours and textures. This plant seems to be growing surprisingly well with very little dirt… And do you think the tap was once in a different position?!

5:09pm, Kedron: Day 82 ~ Orange is an elusive colour… (as is purple) particularly when you’re looking for it! I took this when I was in a mission to increase my ‘orange’ photo count for a project – and it was also one of the many ‘pull up now!’ moments my poor husband has had to deal with. I love the little patches of light coming through the trees, and I’m really rather intrigued by the bent corner of that electrical box…

2:15pm, Geebung: Day 55 ~ Definitely not my first photo of toilet doors, and I know it won’t be my last… Weirdo! I promise – it’s a repetition / colour / contrast thing, I swear! The colour of this place is so cool… It’s in a very industrial area, can you tell?! I love the different shades of blue… and do you think those doors have been kicked open a few times?!
